Summary We are seeking experienced and passionate Medical Assistants. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a strong commitment to student success, possess hands-on medical assistant experience, and bring a collaborative spirit to help shape the next generation of healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging classroom and/or lab instruction aligned with course objectives and program standards. Supervise Monitor and evaluate students in clinical settings, ensuring adherence to safety, ethical, and professional standards. Provide mentorship and real-world insights to students during clinical rotations. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and clinical competencies. Participate in meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities as required by the grant program.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate’s Degree and/or Diploma in Medical Assisting or Clinical Medical Assisting 3–5 years of field experience Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Knowledge of Medical Assisting and Clinical Medical Assistant theory and clinical practice experience required Active Certification in Medical Assisting: CMA, CCMA or RMAA Field experience in Phlebotomy and Electrocardiogram (EKG) Prior teaching experience preferred Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supervising healthcare staff, with the ability to assess progress based on demonstrated clinical tasks and healthcare skills Experience teaching or supervising in CMA, CCMA or RMA courses Familiarity with grant-funded educational programs and reporting requirements Work Location: Various clinical sites and campus locations as assigned.
