Job description

- Woodward Academy, a Sequel Youth & Family Services Program, is a residential treatment facility for male and female youth who are adjudicated delinquent or “child in need of assistance” (CINA).
- Woodward Academy offers three highly structured programs aimed at redirecting delinquent, negative behaviors to positive, socially acceptable patterns through introducing students to a normative culture.
- Youth Counselors work with students every day and are a part of a team that are helping youth to make positive changes in their lives.
- Youth Counselors supervise students on their dorms and in the classrooms and participate in counseling on a daily basis.
- The hours are on the PM shift which is 3 pm to 11 pm.
- New starting pay rate of $14.00 per hour for full time youth counselor with high school diploma and $15.00 per hour for full time youth counselor with a bachelors degree in the human services field.
