Plan for and deliver engaging, motivating, rigorous, and standards-aligned instruction using research-based practices. Design, implement, document, and revise lesson plans, curricular materials, and instructional resources as required by the school. Maintain a classroom environment that is inclusive, structured, and conducive to learning, aligned to school-wide academic and behavioral expectations. Interpret home language survey responses for new enrollments to identify students who may qualify for CLDE services Provide small group push-in or pull-out services for all students who are classified as NEP-1, NEP-2, or LEP-3 Provide consultation to general education teachers to support learning outcomes for all students classified as LEP-4, LEP-5, and LEP-6 Administer W-APT placement assessments throughout the year for new enrollments Administer Spring ACCESS assessments Attend regular district-level training sessions Maintain compliance (annual) paperwork including ELLP's, quarterly monitor year plans, district paperwork, as well as beginning of the year and end of the year parent letters Analyze NWEA MAP, W-APT, ACCESS, iReady, and quarterly grades in order to achieve student projected growth targets Serve as an adviser to a group of students and families, maintaining consistent communication and hosting required family conferences. Actively engage families as partners by understanding their backgrounds and experiences to support an equitable and inclusive school community. Collaborate professionally with colleagues and instructional coaches, demonstrating openness to feedback and continuous improvement. Maintain a school culture of high academic and behavioral expectations through reflection and adherence to shared systems. Participate in professional development, instructional planning, and required school events throughout the year. Support school operations as needed, including but not limited to, arrival, dismissal, lunch, field trips, academic support sessions, community events, and graduations. Provide classroom coverage for colleagues during absences when required (with additional compensation). Perform other related duties as assigned. Salary Range

Start Date: July 13, 2026 QualificationsWho You Are Required Qualifications Hold a Bachelor's Degree Meet “in-field status” by fulfilling at least ONE of the following qualifications by October 31, 2026: Active Colorado teaching license with endorsement in ELL 24 semester hours of specific coursework as identified on the CLD added endorsement worksheet Successful completion of a state-approved ELL program Ability to successfully pass all required background screening pursuant to CRS § 22-30.5-110.7 Be 100% dedicated to educational equity and committed to creating a rigorous, nurturing, and joyful educational experience Have the highest commitment to continuously improving curriculum and instruction through collaboration, best practices, and regular assessment Ownership for the academic results of students Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues Ability to demonstrate evidence of self-motivation and willingness to be a team player Possess a growth mindset and experience using feedback as a way to improve practice Desired Qualifications: Bilingual: Spanish & English or have experience working with bilingual students Successful CLDE experience in an urban classroom using structure, incentives, and high expectations to drive student success while creating a joyful environment for students to thrive in Essential Functions: Must be able to regularly fulfill duties in person Prolonged periods of standing, walking, sitting, and successfully working on a computer Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
