Job description
- A busy, professional family in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a full-time, experienced Live - In / Live - Out nanny to provide attentive, hands-on care for their two young children.
- The ideal candidate is highly engaging, energetic, and positive, with the ability to create a structured yet fun environment that supports development and independence.
- This role requires someone who can confidently guide behavior with a balanced approach—firm when needed but always nurturing and encouraging.
- The family values a nanny who is intuitive, respectful of privacy, and able to read the room, knowing when to step in and when to give space, while working in partnership with the parents.
- Responsibilities include managing the children’s daily routines, coordinating school drop-off and pick-up (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–2:30 PM, with occasional enrichment until 4:00 PM), planning age-appropriate activities, and supporting developmental milestones.
- The nanny will assist with potty training, prepare simple and healthy meals, and handle light household tasks related to the children, such as tidying play areas and children’s laundry.
- Experience with redirection-based discipline is important, as well as maintaining consistency with the family’s approach to routines and behavior.
- The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and proactive in creating a safe, engaging, and well-balanced environment for the children.
