Overview Live Oak is looking for Rhetoric History teacher, who is passionate about learning and teaching, to join our Rhetoric Humanities teaching team. A Live Oak teacher exemplifies a Christian worldview in personal life; embraces the classical model of education; enjoys and loves students; demonstrates knowledge of effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate classroom activities; can maintain a positive, orderly learning environment; possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills. Regular involvement in a church community is expected. Job Goals To implement the approved curriculum and to establish a class environment that follows the classical methodology with a Christian worldview while incorporating the educational ideals of Charlotte Mason; to establish a classroom that fosters a love of learning and thinking, cooperation, and personal and social growth; to maintain good relationships with students, parents, other staff members and the community; to exhibit the highest standards of collegiality and professionalism.QualificationsRequired:
