About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide individualized instruction and support for students with disabilities. You’ll manage IEPs, track student progress, and collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver instruction tailored to individual and small-group needs, aligned with general education curriculum
- Manage and update IEPs in collaboration with families and IEP teams
- Use technology and creative teaching strategies to engage students
- Apply classroom modifications and behavior interventions when needed
- Participate in meetings, assessments, and interdisciplinary planning
- Maintain accurate student records and monitor progress
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Education and a current Special Education teaching certificate
- Knowledge of K-12 special education requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Comfort using technology and Microsoft Office tools
