- Position
- Overview: As a Clinical Fellow Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work closely with students, educators, and families to assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders within the school setting. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide evidence-based interventions to support student success.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication skills. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language goals. Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs in the classroom and beyond. Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided and student progress. Participate in team meetings, professional development opportunities, and ongoing training.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Valid limited state licensure or ability to obtain licensure in Maryland (if applicable) Educator Certificate (if applicable) Experience working with school-age children preferred. Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. Commitment to evidence-based practice and professional growth.
