Job Description
- We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our Sterile Processing Program.
- This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Dean of Education.
- The primary responsibility will be to teach Sterile Processing courses.
- The typical teaching load is two courses each term, with one or two preparations.
- Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students and participate in department training, meetings, and graduation.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Sterile Processing program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or a Diploma; an associate degree is preferred
- Certification:
- Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) - required
- At least three years of experience as a CRCST
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven
- Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred
