Play & Learn is seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our Pre-K Counts classroom in Fort Washington, PA. This is a wonderful opportunity to be part of a supportive team while making a meaningful impact in the lives of young children and their families. Play & Learn is proud to be one of the few early childhood organizations in Montgomery County to offer the Pennsylvania Department of Education’s Pre-K Counts program, a free, high-quality early learning experience for qualifying families. Our program uses a curriculum aligned with state and local standards to prepare children for success in kindergarten and beyond. - You’ll Do: Meet the individual needs of each child while providing the highest quality care Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with our curriculum Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment Support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development Foster creativity through art, music, and play-based learning Promote a multicultural and welcoming learning environment Build strong relationships with children, families, and team members Participate in staff meetings and ongoing professional development
