Essential Functions Facilitate training for Recovery Coach candidates across the four domains: advocacy, mentoring/education, recovery/wellness support, and ethical responsibility Deliver approved curriculum using appropriate materials, technology, and training methods Lead and manage group discussions, role plays, and participant engagement Answer participant questions and ensure understanding of training content Monitor group dynamics and maintain appropriate boundaries during discussions Support participants during small group exercises and activities Ensure all participants have the opportunity to engage and contribute Collaborate with co-facilitators during training sessions Administer post-training tests, evaluations, and distribute certificates Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and support for certification or recertification Assist with marketing and promotion of the Recovery Coach Training Academy Attend stakeholder meetings and community events as needed Serve as a liaison between Recovery Coaches, employers, and community partners Support development of mentoring networks for Recovery Coaches Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately Travel Requirements Approximately 25% travel within the state of Idaho (about once per month) Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required Additional Responsibilities Ensure appropriate use of training facilities and equipment Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements
Required Skills & Competencies Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to facilitate and engage groups effectively Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Professional, collaborative, and relationship-focused approach Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and respectful engagement Reliable, punctual, and adaptable Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 2 years of experience in recovery support or related fields (recovery coaching, substance use disorder services, healthcare, criminal justice, or similar) Completion of an approved Recovery Coach Training (minimum 46 hours in core domains) Active Recovery Coach certification through IBADCC required Certification as a Recovery Coach Supervisor or ability to obtain upon hire Experience facilitating trainings or working in customer-facing roles preferred General knowledge of HIPAA and privacy regulations preferred Spanish fluency preferred Experience with virtual training platforms preferred If in recovery, minimum of 2 years continuous abstinence and active engagement in a recovery program Success Factors Ability to perform responsibilities independently after training Strong customer service mindset with internal and external stakeholders Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines Problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex situations Team-oriented with a collaborative approach
