- Southeastern Louisiana University's School of Nursing invites applications for an Instructor position to begin August 2026.
- This position will provide instruction in didactic courses and/or clinical labs in the undergraduate nursing program.
- Teaching efforts must demonstrate activities that encourage interaction with other students, faculty, the university, and/or the community, and support student success and learning in the classroom and clinical setting.
- Service to the University through committee work and participation in special projects and activities, service to students through academic and career guidance and participation in and support of student activities, and service to the community through activities utilizing professional knowledge and expertise, are expected of this position.
- REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Masters in Nursing conferred by hire date Two years of clinical nursing experience as an RN An unencumbered RN license in the state of Louisiana PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Prior teaching experience DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES AND SKILLS Proficient computer skills (i.e., word processing, presentation software, spreadsheets, etc.) Effective interpersonal communication skills REQUIRED DOCUMENTS Cover Letter Resume/Vita Copies of Transcripts (Only an unofficial transcript for the Highest degree is required at application.
