The Athletic Trainer is responsible for establishing treatment plans, performing orthopedic assessments, and providing counseling on concussions and nutrition. They must also manage field setup and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders and the community.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in athletic training and be certified by the American Board of Certification. State licensure and Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association are also required.
