Job description
- The Northeast YMCA is looking to fill positions in our After School Program!
- Get paid to play and have fun!
- If you love working with children and are available to work M-F 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., we would like to hear from you!
- As an after school mentor, you will have an opportunity to work with youth in grades K-8th.
- Must be over the age of 18, have a valid Florida driver's license, able to pass a level 2 background screening (https://info.flclearinghouse.com), and DOT physical (NE site only).
- The YMCA provides it's team members with a stream of development opportunities, starting with your First Aid/CPR Training and Certification.
- Northeast Y Staff meet monthly for paid trainings and development sessions.
- Further development will be offered depending on the assigned site.
- Daily job duties include leading youth in recreational games, S.T.E.A.M., and creative activities as well as homework assistance.
