Wediko NH is hiring Youth Congregate Residential Counselors to support middle and high school aged students with emotional and behavioral challenges.

This is hands-on, relationship-based work where you mentor, coach, and help young people build the skills they need to succeed.

Consistent 4-day work week (set schedule). Three days off.

  • What You’ll Do
  • Build mentoring relationships with youth

This is an active role that requires being on your feet and engaged throughout your shift. Some days are challenging, but you’ll never handle difficult situations alone — teamwork and support are central to our program.

Qualifications

  • 1. High school diploma or equivalent 2. 21 years of age or older 3. The applicant must meet one (1) of the following minimum qualification pathways:
  • Two (2) years of full-time experience working with children (paid or volunteer), OR
  • Seven (7) years of parenting experience, OR
  • An associate’s degree or higher with at least 12 credits in human services or a related field, awarded by a regionally accredited college or university. 4. If an applicant does not meet any one of the requirements listed above, they may still qualify if they sign a formal education agreement stating they will:
  • Complete 12 credits in human services within 2 years of hire, and
  • Provide documentation showing completion of 3 credits every 6 months, starting from the date of hire.
