- Summary/Purpose: The Department of Nursing at Goodwin University is seeking an MSN prepared individual to serve as an adjunct clinical faculty. Clinical rotations will take place in a variety of health care settings (hospital, long-term care facility, clinic, etc.). The PT clinical instructor would be responsible for overseeing PN (Practical Nursing) students during their clinical rotation as well as evaluating their associated written clinical packet and other assignments. *We are looking for candidates to work from our Bridgeport, CT AND East Hartford, CT location

Facilitate the clinical experience in acute care, long-term care or clinic settings Facilitate the clinical experience in the laboratory Review and provide weekly feedback to students on clinical packets Complete a midterm and final evaluation for each student Attend professional development activities to remain informed of current trends and new approaches to instruction/clinical practice Provide a meaningful pre- and post-clinical conference to enhance student’s clinical learning/experience Become thoroughly familiar with all university policies and procedures and comply with all university policies and procedures Attend at least one departmental meeting per semester Support a multicultural environment and embrace the university's rich diversity Maintain a professional appearance Demonstrate professional attitude, philosophy, compassion, and commitment that promotes student growth and learning Perform all other duties as assigned by the Program Director (LPN) Conducts all work in a safe manner and all work safety practices are followed
