Employment Specialist

Description Competitive starting rate of $17.00 - $19.00 an hour!

Berks Personnel Network, a division of Threshold Rehabilitation Services, Inc., is searching for an Employment Specialist. The Employment Specialist provides assessment, job development, training and follow-up support for assigned individuals. Responsibilities include networking and actively seeking competitive employment opportunities for individuals with challenges. Must be a self-starter willing to work a flexible schedule and have the ability to work independently within the community.

The hours for this position are Monday to Friday, 8am - 4

30pm, flexible. These are great work hours with paid holidays off starting day one of employment!!

Full-time staff are eligible for benefits including medical, dental and vision, paid vacation and sick days, as well as tuition reimbursement, and a 401(k) Plan.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in human services or closely related field preferred OR associate's degree in human services or closely related field with two years' experience in relevant field OR high school diploma/GED with four years' experience in relevant field. Computer knowledge is a must Bilingual is a plus Valid PA Driver's License PA Motor Vehicle Record Check Use of vehicle while working with valid registration and insurance coverage indicating you are an insured driver Pre-employment Drug Screen FBI Clearance (Department of Human Services) Child Abuse Clearance PA Criminal History Clearance FBI Clearance (if candidate has not been a resident of PA for the past two consecutive years)
