Ability Camp Counselor
Holland, PA | Part Time, Seasonal, Hourly | $13.00 - $17.00 per hour

What is needed to be an Ability Camp Counselor
- 18+ years of age
- Experience working with the Special Needs community (professional, volunteer, or familial)
- 1+ years of experience working with children
- Experience in aquatics, fitness, or related activities
- Excellent communication skills
- Ensure that programs are executed to meet the needs of all ages, abilities, and skill levels as well as maintaining safety and well-being of campers
The responsibilities we trust to our Ability Camp Counselors
- Supervise and engage Ability Campers in regularly scheduled camp activities and provide pull-out opportunities for campers who may need them
- Provide instructional support and age appropriate progressive skill development in the program
- Adapt program activities according to camper's needs
- Provide feedback to participants and parents/guardians on individual performance
- Ensure program area is safe and clear of any hazards
