Job description

1. Provide assistance with campers needing 1

1 support .

2. Assist campers in getting ready for the day or for bed, assist them with meals, completing camp chores, help them through activities - serve temporarily as a member of that camper's staff team.

3. Assist in preparing, running or cleaning up programs as activity leaders need support .

4. Bring items across camp to their owners (water bottles, clothes, sunscreen, etc) and help clean/tidy behind folks and manage lost and found items.

5. Collaborate with day and overnight camp managers to share any ways that cabin staff might need additional support.

6.Assist leadership/support staff team in delivering this additional support.

7. Provide additional cabin support to cover for brief breaks by cabin staff members as needed throughout the day/week.

8. Other duties (as assigned).

  • Must be a self
  • starter and have a high level of initiative. Must be able to adapt to new situations and relate well and communicate to people of all backgrounds and needs. Must have the ability to supervise and organize children and adults. Prior experience working at a camp or with individuals with disabilities or chronic health conditions preferred but not required. There will be multiple things needing tending to at any one time - rover will work as part of a team to determine best method for addressing all needs.

*Will work every Sunday during camp season as well as all summer holidays.
