As the Clinical Educator you will be responsible for
- Design and Deliver Clinical Education
- Develop and facilitate clinical learning programs in both online and in-person formats.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and WesleyLife philosophies.

- Secure classrooms and equipment.
- Create auditing and tracking systems for ongoing program success.
- Evaluate Program Effectiveness
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for clinical training programs.
- Maintain and report on retention, completion, and other metrics to assess program impact.
- Define Competencies
- Identify essential competencies for licensed and certified clinical team members.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations while building capabilities for quality care.
- Manage Training Plans
- Develop onboarding and orientation practices that meet annual training requirements.
- Oversee clinical training programs
- Support Career Development
- Identify career pathways and create aligned educational opportunities.
What We're Looking for
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience as an RN, with at least one year of experience as an RN within a long-term care setting.
- A valid Iowa RN licenses is required to be considered for this position.
- Preferred - Certified in one of more of the following or able to obtain within 6 months of hire: MHFA, CPR / BLS Instructor Certification.
- Preferred - Completed Wound Care Certification, IV Certification, Certified Dementia Practitioner or other identified areas of clinical competency.
- Proficient in the use of learning development and delivery software (Storyline, Rise, Camtasia, etc.).
- Proficient use of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
