Shifts available
- Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM;
- Tuesday &
- Thursday: 1:00 PM–5:00 PM
Essential functions
- Create and deliver engaging lesson plans tailored to diverse learning styles across various subjects.
- Develop instructions based on students' needs and the established curriculum to achieve specific objectives.
- Assist in student recruitment, registration, and placement activities.
- Evaluate and grade students’ work and assignments, ensuring feedback is provided within 72 hours.
- Address academic or behavioral concerns, involving the Assistant Dean of Faculty and Student Services Coordinator as needed.
- Hold regular in-person office hours to support and advise students.
- Supervise and guide students during their externships.
- Review course materials—syllabi, homework, handouts—and recommend improvements.
- Attend faculty meetings, advisory board discussions, workshops, graduations, and professional development events.
- Maintain accurate records, including attendance, incident reports, early alerts, and student files.
- Coordinate guest speakers, field trips, and visits to clinics and medical offices.
- Enforce safety and security standards for all students, staff, and visitors.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, CHEA, or equivalent OR three (3) years of training and experience in Medical Assisting.
- A minimum of three (3) years of full-time practical experience as a Medical Assistant.
- Functional proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, video-conferencing tools, and related computer/internet applications.
Preferred
- Classroom teaching experience.
- Three (3) years of practical experience as a Medical Assistant.
- Current, unencumbered certification through a nationally recognized agency (CMA or RMA).
Compensation

Hourly Rate
- $22.88–$27.46
