Skill Builder

$17.00–$18.00 (depending on related experience)

Nature of Work

The Skill Builder plays a critical role in helping children and youth grow and strengthen abilities that are purposeful, practical and tailored to individual needs. They help children and youth with mental health conditions restore emotional, social and/or vocational functioning. The Skill Builder empowers children and youth to live more independently, build meaningful relationships and improve their overall quality of life.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must have an Associate’s degree with one year Human Services experience. Preferred Associate’s degree with three years of service experience in human services working with children/youth and families.
  • Must possess a valid/clear driver’s license and dependable vehicle.
  • Must clear the State Central Registry Clearance, Staff Exclusion List Clearance and OMH Criminal History Review for criminal convictions.
