  • The Teacher works collaboratively with parish staff, families, and students to support the holistic development of each learner.Job Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with parish or diocesan guidelines

Integrate Catholic teachings, values, and traditions into daily instruction

Create a positive, respectful, and faith-centered classroom environment

Assess student learning and maintain appropriate records and documentation

Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and needs

Collaborate with parish staff, catechists, and administrators to support student success

Participate in parish meetings, training sessions, and professional development

Support parish events and activities as needed

Uphold classroom management practices that reflect Gospel values

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field

Teaching experience preferred

Knowledge of instructional best practices and classroom management

Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Commitment to the mission and teachings of the Roman Catholic Church

Practicing Catholic preferred, in accordance with parish policy

Working Conditions & Requirements

Classroom and parish-based instructional settings

May involve working with various age groups

Completion of diocesan Safe Environment training and background checks required
