Job Description

Key Responsibilities Design and lead group fitness classes and/or individual training sessions appropriate for various fitness levels Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and provide clear verbal and visual instruction Monitor participant performance and modify exercises to ensure safety and effectiveness Motivate, encourage, and support clients to help them stay consistent and reach fitness goals Create structured workout plans aligned with class formats or training objectives Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workout environment Enforce facility policies, safety guidelines, and emergency procedures Stay current with fitness trends, techniques, and best practices Build positive relationships with clients and contribute to member retention Assist with fitness assessments, goal‑setting, and progress tracking as needed Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field preferred) Current Pilates certification. CPR/AED and First Aid certification (current or ability to obtain) Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and safe exercise practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lead and motivate individuals and groups At Scottish Rite for Children, we work together with the common goal of helping give children back their childhood.
