Job description

✨Part-Time ABA Behavior Tech Opportunities Available in Rhode Island!✨

Schedule

  • Monday-Friday;
  • Flexible days, evenings and weekends mainly between hours of 3:00PM - 7:30PM for about 3 - 4 1/2 hours per day (between 9-18 hours per week)

Rate of Pay: $24 per hour

Sign-On Bonus: $500 (Pro-Rated for Part-Time)

Here you can help teach children ages 2-21 years old with Autism and other developmental delays to communicate effectively, play appropriately, and learn important life skills that support independence. We do this with person-centered individualized care and support. You can help make a difference in the life of a child and their family while being supported by a team of enthusiastic, dedicated, knowledgeable professionals.

Education, Experience and Skills Needed

  • Minimum of 6 months of supervised experience required working with individuals who have autism and developmental disabilities; 2 years preferred
  • Associate's degree in human services or related field; or currently in school in related field
  • Must be at least 19 years old
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak in English proficiently
  • Ability to speak, see & hear clearly/audibly, as well as write legibly for documentation
  • Basic computer skills
  • Professional and respectful communication skills with clients and their families or other parties
  • Ability to intervene with clients when needed to implement behavioral inventions including physical restraint, lifting and transporting in personal vehicle
  • Ability to sit, stand, lift up to 50 pounds, walk, bend, reach and/or move regularly
  • Valid driver's license for at least 3 years, with a registered and insured vehicle
  • CPR/First Aid Certification (We provide training if needed)
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification is a plus!
