  • Shift: DayDUI PROGRAM COUNSELOR (On-Site Only Position) Bi-Bett Corporation, a California non-profit engaged for the past 50 years in the treatment and recovery of adults with primary substance use and co-occurring disorders alcohol or other drug problems. Originally based in Contra Costa County, Bi-Bett now operates residential and outpatient programs in Alameda and Solano Counties, as well as Recovery Residences.

Duties

Attend mandatory staff meetings. - Teach weekly, evening, and/or Saturday classes and facilitate groups. - Facilitate private individual face to face meetings with students. - Maintain monthly or daily student progress notes. - Other duties as required.QualificationsQualifications - Experience working in alcohol and/or drug recovery programs. - Certified Addiction Counselor - Ability to conduct alcohol and/or drug educational classes for up to 35 students. - A thorough knowledge of alcohol/drugs, related problems and recovery process. - Sensitivity to cultural, disabled, gay and lesbian, transgender, bi-sexual issues. - Understanding of recovery terminology. - Good written and verbal skills. - Medical clearance. This is a non-exempt full-time benefited position.

Salary Range
