Special Education Teacher – Resource & Inclusive Services

Washington | Full-Time | School-Based

Clarifi Staffing Solutions is partnering with a Washington state school district to hire a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher for a full-time, school-based opportunity. This position is ideal for an educator who is committed to inclusive practices, individualized instruction, and empowering students with diverse learning needs to achieve academic and personal success.

As the Special Education Teacher, you will provide specially designed instruction to students receiving special education services across resource, inclusion, or self-contained settings. You’ll create supportive and structured learning environments that foster growth, independence, and confidence. Working collaboratively with general education teachers, related service providers, and families, you will help ensure students have equitable access to the curriculum and meaningful participation in their educational experience.

Role Overview

Deliver individualized and small-group instruction aligned with IEP goals and state standards. Adapt and modify curriculum, assignments, and assessments to meet diverse learning profiles. Monitor student progress consistently and use data to guide instructional decisions. Maintain open communication with families regarding student development and progress. Develop, implement, and maintain compliant IEPs in accordance with Washington state and federal regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support inclusive classroom practices and positive behavior supports.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field. Strong classroom management, instructional planning, and collaboration skills. Experience in resource, inclusion, or self-contained settings preferred. Valid Washington State teaching certificate with a Special Education endorsement (or eligibility to obtain).
